Redefining SUCCESS......

The topic is SUCCESS!!

Question: As an individual, how would you define success?

I believe as men we are called to be successful at and in all that we do but then; what is success and when can I call my self successful?

Now, taking it as commonly defined (the achieving of all set goals), would you consider Moses as having been a successful prophet?

Please bless us with your opinion so we can build each other as men and we won’t have to continuing working on already successful projects which hinder us from taking up new assignments from the Lord.

As you post your opinion, please feel free to bring it to business, politics, spirituality, marriage (interesting one), etc.

Welcome back Pr.Andrew......

Hey everybody,

This is a period of a cock tail of feelings. Our Senior pastor is back from his long sabbatical leave. For us (the men), it is great having him back into active service but am almost sure he would have loved to stay on sabbatical for at least one more week.... :(

Please join me and let us as men welcome him back with special messages. Please leave your message as a comment.

Welcome back Pastor Andrew!!

The Wrist Band......

Dear Brethren,
Am sure most of us are familiar with the abbreviation "W.W.J.D." and may be you have put on a wrist band with that inscription before.
I personally put on one of those and surely the message was so encouraging (especially in trying/testing times) and I loved my band. Unfortunately I have it no more.

Now recently I saw a potential substitute (like Pepsi can do for Coke sometimes) but this time with the inscription "PUSH-Pray Until Something Happens". The message sounds good to me but am not sure it is in line with what the Bible teaches about prayer. I have my doubts and need your help here.

Brethren with reference to what scripture teaches about prayer, should I go ahead and buy this wrist band or not?

Yours
Troubled brother

The Sunrise walks in pictures.......

September walk in pictures
Photos by: Reagan Turakira
Am not sure if there are "sleeping feet", but the above are the "walking feet"!!
Am thinking we need to call up people's spouses to help identify
 who owns which foot.

Choosing a marriage partner.......

Dear men,
As we await Evan's second part of his story as to why he has chosen to quit TV, please allow me point you to this link that highlights the basic steps of how to choose a future mate.

If you are already married, then may be you could inspire a single man (or lady) using these words of wisdom by our very own senior Pastor; Andrew Mwenge.

Be blessed!

Dear gentle man reading this, the photo below is just meant to show that just in case of financial constraints, there always are cheaper means - as suggested by Dr.Joseph Kigula

Thank you Dr, am now almost sure your medical profession is in love which would make you a love Doc, lol (laughing out loud)

We are with you.....

It is with deep sorrow that I write this post.
Two of our brothers; Peter Kazibwe and Godfrey Walakira lost their mother and according to the mail I got from the church administrator, burial  was supposed to take place today at 4pm in Wakiso District.
Just want to let you; Peter and Godfrey know that we are with you in prayer and for those men that managed to make it for the burial, thanks for being their with our brothers......
May the Lord comfort you as you go through this trying time!!
