Hey everybody,
This is a period of a cock tail of feelings. Our Senior pastor is back from his long sabbatical leave. For us (the men), it is great having him back into active service but am almost sure he would have loved to stay on sabbatical for at least one more week.... :(
Please join me and let us as men welcome him back with special messages. Please leave your message as a comment.
A pastor, brother, friend, mentor, its great having you back...

Hi, Paso! Its a blessing to have you back. You must be well refreshed and ready for the Pastoral task once more

Yes Pastor, Welcome back indeed but do not feel pressured to walk on the 16th - in case you have another engagement, since you were walking all the time whether on leave or not! However, if you are there it will be even better for you are indeed a special "man" and you will be one more minister among the so many - we hope!

ReplyDeleteI have no comment on this. Really the guy was welcomed back in the Sunday bulletin. And also what do you mean by "Special messages"? Clarification needed here. Otherwise he is welcome back from the leave. But may be a bit of correction on the phrase "active service".
ReplyDeleteHe has been in active service even while on sabbatical leave.
Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteit is mixed emotions , on one hand i am excited to get back on the other hand i stand in awe of the task of Pastoring KBC. Only God can give the wisdom and the energy to lead. i covet your prayer.
It is common for one to feel the great task as one gets more experienced. Anxiety over changes mixed with the anxiety over the unchanging. Life is but a journey and the world is a university of learning.
ReplyDeleteThe saying, "no one ever graduates from Bible study until one meets the real author" is true for us. Each time we learn something new even on paths we've often troded. The one who teaches what they learn ends up the greater beneficiary.
I am sure there's gonna be something new with your return Pastor!
I remember during your leave when you gave me a lift fromm the airport...hoping to get more lifts through your continual service...Happy to have you back!
ReplyDeleteamwase, that was on a rather selfish note but its cool with me, lol
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to see how people are actively engaging with each other. I continue to pray that this will be another place we shall find the refreshing and challenging as we grow in our faith.
