Lets talk Politics....

As used by a number of opposition candidates:

“Take the money from the candidates but then vote wisely, after all this money is your taxes.”

What is your opinion?

  1. Politics is for the old, and those who have lost faith in there destiny. I dont see myself into teh politics thing, banange there's a lot to life than fight the government or the opposition

  2. Politics is about determining what what happened in our society. We need to be more involved than getting money. People who are in politics or intern to join should know that i is a calling and i feel the church and everyone should be involved.

  3. I agree Pam, we might call it many names but the bottom line is that it is leadership. Joseph would have probably been in the opposition then.

In regard to the money, dont touch the money, flee....

  4. Believe I am still in the opposition!! (it is a joke).
after the prayers, the minimum involvement expected would be to go and vote at all levels for candidates of our choice. This means that we find out what they stand for as individuals but also what their party/parties are standing for since we are in multi-party politics. For the money - I agree flee is the best solution. otherwise why should a candidate offer money for a voter? It is like some body offering you a bribe and you take knowing you won't do what he wants. You would still have taken the bribe and in reality stolen his/her money! So flee! (Joseph) Kigula

  6. Well, i think the church is right to say that Christians need to get involved in Politics. But there is one problem with that, If todays church is so lost that It is like the Wall Street in the USA then we need to first put the general church's act together before we can proceed with solving political problems....First things First
